| Implementing Country-based Blocking for Certain Customer Services While we have never done this sort of wholesale blocking before, we now find it necessary to implement this targeted blocking to reduce/limit connections from malicious entities and protect customer information. We are currently blocking the following country codes, BY,CN,IR,RU,UA, from accessing services on port 21 (FTP) and port 110 (unencrypted POP3). |

| MySQL 5.5 is Live! Upgraded to mySQL v5.5 as v5.1 was End of Life as of 12-31-13. It appears that there are no issues to any sites as a result of this upgrade, but as always contact support if you are having any trouble. |

| Upgraded to Apache 2.2 Apache 1.3 is End of Life. So we have now upgraded to Apache 2.2. The configuration we are using necessitated a file permissions change. However, this change should reduce file permission issues in the future. You should not need to chmod any files to 777 or 666, as the webserver will be running under your user when accessing your files. |

It appears that there are no issues to any sites as a result of this upgrade, but as always contact support if you are having any trouble. The only known issue at this time is an incompatibility with mysql usernames over 16 characters long. |
